Summary

Finis gives this exhilarating turning class to Michele Wiles, a later Principal Dancer of The American Ballet Theatre. You'll see how Michele got the Gold as she breezes through Finis's choreographed combinations which cover space and progress from adagio to grand allégro and are loaded with turning movements including multiple pirouettes (sometimes 4 turns) in passé, attitude, arabesque, and à la seconde. At the end, you’ll see some dazzling fouetté turns. At the barre, Finis gives each exercise, and then stands by and coaches Michele as she demonstrates. In center floor, Finis shows and explains each exercise, Michele demonstrates, Finis analyzes and coaches, Michele repeats, and then Finis summarizes.
