This disc might better be titled, “Follower 201,” or, “Follower 301” since it’s not about “basics” but about things you can do on top of, or, other than, the “basics.”
It’s assumed by Tatiana and Jordan that you already know WCS and are looking to improve on such things as your frame, your placement in a basic, how you work with a partner, and so forth. There are lots of references to questions that come up in workshops, and issues that are worked on in private lessons that they address here – not so much about how to get started, or, what you might have learned that needs to be relearned.
Your mileage then may vary in using this disc to improve your dancing. Much will be of little interest; some things will get your attention as worth seeing and working on. There are some things that seem hard to teach - such as “sexy styling within your basics” What “sexy” is seems too subjective to objectively teach, and, there were other things that seemed practical at any level, such as “How to Duck” (well).
This disc is part of Jordan and Tatiana’s series available here on Danceflix. If you like the other discs, you should probably give this one a look too. How Tatiana thinks of certain aspects of the dance, and how she gets the “look” she presents, might be of use to you.
